Frequently Asked Questions

I’ve never been to counseling before. Why should I? Aren’t adults supposed to have life figured out on their own?

Many of my clients come in with thoughts that they “shouldn’t” be struggling or the belief that something is inherently wrong with them—but it’s never that simple.

Everyone needs support from time to time. And it takes an extraordinary amount of courage to reach out and ask for help. In our work together, I’ll help you explore your story and struggles so that you can begin to experience healing and flourishing.

Do you meet with clients in person or virtually?

Currently, I only meet with clients virtually via SimplePractice, a safe, secure, and HIPPA-compliant software trusted by 185,000+ practitioners. (Think Zoom for therapists and medical professionals.)

Since you meet with clients virtually, does it matter where I live?

I am licensed to meet with clients who live in Georgia or Tennessee.

How many total sessions does a typical client do?

All payments are made online via SimplePractice. Credit cards are accepted.

Do you accept insurance?

Unfortunately, I do not accept insurance.
